TMJ Syndrome usually requires treatment with 5-6 FASTT Patches (2 meduim and 3-4 small patches) on the injured area to heal the tendon and muscle injury.
If there is still pain left inside the joint after the FASTT Patch treatment, it indicates that the joint cartilage is also injured. This requires treatment with 3-6 small WHITEE Patches in the joint area.
For TMJ that is a secondary problem caused by other disorders such as irregular biting or teeth grinding at night, the primary cause has to be addressed to prevent future development of TMJ.
