Soup B is used for severe emphysema, chronic bronchitis, COPD, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and conditions complicated by cancer.
1. Mild and moderate conditions:
Patients with mild (usually under 60) or moderate conditions require 2 weeks to 1 month of treatment. This will help improve their lung structure/function and improve symptoms such as shortness of breath and coughing with phlegm.
2. Severe conditions:
Patients with a severe condition (typically over 70 and using oxygen) may need 3 or 4 months of treatment of Soup A, Soup B and LC Balancer, which will help improve their lung structure and function and reduce the dependance of oxygen with over 60-80% symptom improvement.
3. Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Sarcoidosis:
We recommend treatment with Soup A, Soup B and LC Balancer for 3 months for such conditions. Patients with pulmonary fibrosis should take Soup A, Soup B and LC Balancer together at the beginning.
4. COPD with other complications:
i. Patients with swollen ankles, or chronic diarrhea due to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) should take Java Sauce as an additional formula.
ii. Patients with IBS and resulting constipation should take Luna Sauce as an additional formula.
iii. Patients with poor liver function should take Brown Juice as an additional formula.
iv. If patients have coughing with phlegm from a cold or flu, we recommend taking our ClearLung formula to clear these symptoms before using Soup A.
