Treatment of tendonitis in an area with thick callus (such as the arch of the foot) will require more FASTT Patches than usual due to low absorption efficiency. It is recommended to place a blank tape over the area a couple of times to facilitate removal of the dead skin, which will allow the patch stay firmly in place. Cartilage injury in the weight bearing joint such as the Calcaneal joint should be treated with 3-6 WHITEE Patches in the joint area and the joint should be immobilized during the treatment to avoid continuing damage during the healing process.
