Drug Withdrawal Symptoms
We believe addictions to substances such as Methamphetamine, cocaine, and cigarettes are due to a chronic liver deficiency related to the addict¡¯s genetic background based on our case studies and previous findings which show:

1) Only a portion of people who have used a drug become addicted to that drug. Approximately 15-20 million people have used Methamphetamine but only about 1.5-2 million (10%) people have become addicted to it;
2) The drive to use a drug to cope with excessive stress is much stronger than the drive to seek pleasure from the drug. Addicts use drugs to temporarily relieve stress-related symptoms that otherwise would be overwhelming and uncontrollable. These symptoms include anxiety, agitation, and restlessness, and are similar to the symptoms of hepatic encephalopathy (problems related to liver function);
3) 80% of drug addicts under methadone maintenance programs also have hepatitis C.

Our Brown Juice product along with the LC Balancer, which is a microcirculation enhancer, has shown to be effective in improving the liver¡¯s structure and function and has achieved great results in treating addictions including Methamphetamine, cocaine, and cigarette. Since the herbal products improve the structure and function of the liver, they help restore the patient¡¯s normal physiological condition to eliminate the urge to use the drug as well as the anxiety and restlessness resulting from drug withdrawal.

Expected Treatment Results: After two weeks of treatment with the Brown Juice and LC Balancer under a drug-free condition, there should be a noticeable decrease of anxiety and uncontrollable urges to use the drug and improvement in general well-being and overall health. Within two months, the symptoms should be significantly reduced. A minimum of three months treatment is recommended. We recommend taking the following blood tests before and once every month after starting the treatment as indicators of progress:

1) Hepatic function panel: determine blood level of Albumin, Bilirubin (total and direct), Alkaline phosphate transferase (ALP), Asparatate amino transferase (AST), Alanine amino transferase (ALT), and total protein.
2) Lipoprotein analysis (lipoprotein profile or lipid profile): measures the blood levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.

If a blood test is not possible, we recommend monitoring the patient¡¯s symptoms. Patients usually experience symptom reduction very quickly but it will take a longer time for the blood test to show improvement. Therefore, the patient should continue with the treatment until the blood test results are normal even if all symptoms have cleared. This process may take a minimum of 6 weeks to 3 months or longer for severe cases. If patients stop the treatment before all parameters of the blood test become normal, they may have a premature relapse.

Because the drug withdrawal syndrome is due to genetic chronic liver deficiency, symptoms may build up again gradually over time and will need a periodic treatment for 1 to 2 weeks as needed. As an alternative, we recommend a low dose preventative treatment.

As liver function improves, more metabolic wastes may be forced into the intestines which can result in constipation if Brown Juice is taken alone. If the patient¡¯s GI tract moves slowly, this waste can become trapped. The LC Balancer improves the contraction of the GI system to prevent constipation. The LC Balancer will also accelerate the healing effects of Brown Juice and help to achieve desired treatment results by improving microcirculation systematically.
